Your Job
We’re looking for a reliable and organized team player to take ownership of core HR administration tasks. In this role, you'll be the go-to contact for employee-related administrative matters and play a key part in ensuring smooth HR operations.

Located in the heart of Hamburg, you'll help shape a people-first culture at Bigpoint together with our small, collaborative team.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update employee records and our HR database accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to employment contracts, amendments, and other HR documentation.
  • Support monthly payroll processes, including preparation and follow-up, for our teams in Germany, Malta, Singapore, and India.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a great employee experience.
  • Prepare internal HR reports and assist with data-driven analysis.
  • Be the first point of contact for employee questions on HR-related topics and provide day-to-day support.
  • Manage sickness notifications and handle relevant documentation, including certificates of incapacity for work.
Requirements
  • Initial experience in HR (internships or working student roles count too).
  • Strong interpersonal skills: empathetic, approachable, and a good listener.
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to grow and contribute to company culture.
  • Strong written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Located in Hamburg or willing to relocate.
Pluses:
  • A passion for gaming and interest in working in a creative, international environment.
  • Completed vocational training or a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of labor law and HR compliance practices.
  • Experience collaborating with a works council or similar employee representation body.
Benefits
  • Work in an exciting industry: Join a company at the heart of the gaming world — a creative, passionate environment that’s as fun and dynamic as the games we help bring to life.
  • Personal growth: While your core focus will be HR administration, you’ll have the opportunity to gain insights and grow your role into other HR areas that interest you.
  • Hybrid working & flexibility: Flexible working hours and the option to work in a hybrid work setting.
  • Time to recharge: 30 days of vacation annually to rest, travel, or catch up on your favorite games.
  • Fitness perks: Access a wide range of gyms, swimming pools, and wellness facilities across Germany with a subsidized E-GYM Wellpass membership.
  • Mental health support: Free and anonymous employee counseling services through the Fürstenberg Institute.
  • Team culture: Regular company events, celebrations, and social gatherings.
  • Learning & development: An annual education budget for all employees to support continuous learning and skill-building.
  • Public transport: Subsidized Deutschlandticket to get you around Hamburg, or wherever else you need to go.
